A funny song courtesy of one Stephen Lynch.
Hand in hand we walk the city.
Beneath the darkened skies.
Stealing kisses in the shadows away from prying eyes.
Hiding out from those we know.
Secrets whispers voices low.
Pulses racing hearts aflame, a love that dare not speak it’s name.
Well we just can’t let people see, that your not hot enough for me.
Don’t tell are families or our friends, say one word and this thing ends.
It’s true, ‘cos I’m prettier than you.
I’ll take you on a special date, enjoy your company.
If someone we know happens by just hide behind that tree.
To a late night picture show, or planetarium we’ll go.
A midnight picnic in the park, anywhere that’s really dark.
Well we just can’t let people see that your not hot enough for me, but I’ll enjoy this right or wrong.
Till someone better comes along.
Someone prettier than you
I wish I weren’t a shallow man, I wish that I care not.
I wish I weren’t so superficial, I wish you were more hot.
I should not be ashamed you see.
I love your personality.
What we have is good and true, for you’ve got me and lucky you…
Oh we just can’t let people see that your not hot enough for me.
So close your eyes and sing along, at least I wrote you a love song.
It too, is prettier than you
Saw this online. Best way I’ve ever seen for selling ad space.
Another fan-made film that was released a while back. Beyond Black Mesa is set in the Half-Life universe, of the hugely popular videogame series, focusing on a small band of resistance fighters on the run, attempting to warn others of a pending invasion.
You just can’t beat Japanese game shows. They are absolutely crazy, ridiculous and come up with the most ingenious ideas. Take this, for instance. I have no idea what this show is called, but the not-as-funny UK version of the show was unimaginatively called Hole In The Wall. The title pretty much explains the premise, and that’s all you need to know.
Found this online. Can be played in any classroom.
Best classroom game ever.
A French-directed fan film seems to be making the rounds online. Kaydara is a 55-minute feature set in the universe created by the Wachowski brothers in the Matrix franchise.
Set in the post-war universe, the film adds its own twist to the story – as the synopsis goes:
Kaydara, a bounty hunter who is living separately from the Human Resistance Group, does not believe in the prophecy of ‘The One.’ He sees this so-called saviour as a threat to the awakening of Man’s self-awareness and considers him an enemy. If their paths cross, Kaydara will not hesitate to confront him.
It’s certainly a different take on things, with main character Kaydara rejecting the prophecy of The One, going as far as considering The One to be nothing more than an anomaly and a threat to mankind.
Note that the first few minutes of the film is an animated short within the film – the trenchcoat and shades wearing rat is not the main character.
Rockstar Games are best known for the hugely successful Grand Theft Auto series. The sandbox games covered various eras of America – the 80’s with Vice City and Vice City Stories, the 90’s with San Andreas and the 2000’s with GTA 3 and 4. Usually known for its controversial content, the games are also known for the fantastic in-game radio stations, with songs and adverts that perfectly capture the game setting.
Some of the best features in the in-game radios are the radio advertisements, and Rockstar have taken note. They have put together a website containing ALL the in-game radio adverts from all the GTA games….
